HOW TO MAKE A STRAIGHT THROUGH CABLE

 1. Strip the Cable

Use a cable stripper to remove about 1-2 inches of the outer sheath from both ends of the cable.

Be careful not to damage the internal wires.

2. Untwist the Pairs

Inside the cable, you'll find 4 twisted pairs (8 wires total).

Untwist the wires and straighten them.

3. Arrange the Wires

Use the TIA/EIA-568B standard (commonly used for straight-through cables):

Orange/White

Orange

Green/White

Blue

Blue/White

Green

Brown/White

Brown

4. Cut the Wires

Trim the wires evenly to about 1/2 inch from the sheath.

5. Insert the Wires into the RJ45 Connector

Hold the connector with the clip facing down.

Insert the wires into the connector in the correct order.

Ensure each wire reaches the end of the connector.

6. Crimp the Connector

Place the connector into the crimping tool.

Squeeze firmly to secure the wires and the connector.

7. Repeat for the Other End

Follow the same steps for the other end of the cable.

8. Test the Cable

Use a cable tester to ensure the wiring is correct and the cable functions properly.

In the recent activity we configured a router and in first attempt we failed to because separate my group  aconfigure a router, second attempt  did out best and set up the router was a really difficult   but enjoyable process that we now know hot to do.

My Reflection About Yesterday's Symposium

MY REFLICTION 

About yesterday's symposium, the people who held the symposium were soldiers and they discussed terrorism, the rebels of the Philippines, and how they manipulated students to join their communist party.the National Democratic Front (NDF), the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), and the New People's Army (NPA) were the communist organizations. We had a great time throughout yesterday's festivities, especially when they showed off their musical prowess. I was inspired to continue my education and encouraged to persevere by the teacher, who had experienced adversity but never gave up. The tale of the one former CPP/NPA member who joined the Philippine military also captured my attention. Yesterday was a lot of fun, and learning more about the communist organizations in our nation was a worthwhile experience.

Steps on how to do the p2p networking using Cross Over UTP Cable.

Step 1: Open the PC.

Step 2: click windows+R

Step 3: type ncpa.cpl.

Step 4: click Ethernet and go properties.

Step 5: click v4 and go to properties.

Step 6: type the class A networking of both sides in your partner.

Step 7: go to command prompt.

Step 8: type the IP address on your command prompt.

Step 9: and after all the steps wait for the respdonding and if the tasks is successful you finish the steps.

my refliction 

I learned about p2p handout last Thursday for me there are some difficult to remember but there are some easy.

Learning about peer-to-peer  networks using a crossover cable is a valuable experience for understanding the fundamentals of networking and direct device communication. In a peer-to-peer network  two computers can connect directly without the need for a central server  allowing for file sharing gaming or other collaborative tasks. The use of a crossover cable specifically allows two devices to communicate without a switch or router as it enables the direct transmission of data between the two network interfaces.

How to set-up Computer IP address

 

1.Windows + R.

2. type "nepa.cpl"

3. right click thernet

4. Click properties

5.type your password

 6. to enter the properties Find (TCP/IPv4) and double click.

7. Find "Use the following ip address and click.

8. Type 10.10.10.10 in ID address.

9. Press click Subnet mask at it auto translates

10. Type 10.10.10.1 acting Default Gateway.

Types of topology

Mesh topology 

 Mesh topology is a network configuration where devices are interconnected in a decentralized manner.

Star topology

A star network is a local area network (LAN) topology in which all nodes -- personal computers (PCs), workstations or other devices -- are directly connected to a common central computer that is often referred to as a hub. Therefore, a star network is often referred to as a hub-and-spoke network topology.

Bus topology 

Bus topology uses one main cable to which all nodes are directly connected. The main cable acts as a backbone for the network. One of the computers in the network typically acts as the computer server.

Ring topology 

Ring topology is a type of network configuration where devices are connected in a circular manner, forming a closed loop. In this setup, each device is connected to exactly two other devices, creating a continuous pathway for data transmission.

Hybrid topology 

Hybrid topology is an interconnection of two or more basic network topologies, each of which contains its own nodes. 

Tree topology 

 tree topology is a structure where devices are connected hierarchically. It resembles a tree with a root node and various branches. The root node is connected to multiple levels of child nodes, forming a hierarchy.
